There is a veterinarian on the premises
24 hours a day, every day

Veterinary Specialists of South Florida is pleased to announce that our Approved Residency Training Facility status with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care is continuing. VSSF is the only approved training facility in South Florida, and one of only two such programs available in the state. Currently we are training three critical care residents: Drs. Payne, Hooper, and Kersey. The residents, along with myself and our interns comprise the critical care service. Having the residency in place means that more senior clinicians are on duty after-hours and on weekends for the referral veterinary community.
Maintaining the residency training facility status is a major achievement for us. VSSF must provide specific equipment, adjunct specialists and teaching for our residency. We are very happy to share this development with you. As a teaching facility, your clients and their beloved pets will continue to receive the best and most up to date care in veterinary medicine.

Sincerely,
Dr, Brian K. Roberts
